In saying that, we're sure that you'll agree, Dan Wrightson's work and website is a treasure to behold!
Dan grew up in Tuscany and went to Art School in Florence, so we're already fairly jealous. He then trained as an architect at Cambridge and Sheffield. His love of the features and intricacies of buildings, and the shape and juxtaposition of man-made forms is clearly evident in his work
Dan produces beautiful drawings and watercolours of Italian landscapes, the French countryside and the metropolis of London to name just a few subjects. The finesse and accuracy with which Dan not only captures the physicality of the landscape, but also the mood of the places that he paints or draws is wonderfully refreshing and enchanting.
Whether it's the view of St Pauls on the South Bank, or Siena from the San Domenico, Dan has a fantastic talent that will bring him waves of supporters.
